Our Beliefs

What we affirm as a ministry: Rooted in truth, centered on Christ, and shaped by Scripture.

1

The Trinity

We believe in one God that has eternally existed as three persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. God’s triune nature is beyond the comprehension of us humans, yet clearly taught in scriptures and the historical teaching of the Christian church.

2

The Gospel

The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). It is the good news of God taking on human form and being our representative, in which he suffered and was crucified, buried, and then raised from the dead for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life for all human kind. Through faith in Him, we are justified, sanctified, and adopted into God’s family.

3

The Apostles' Creed

This is one of the earliest creeds/confessions among the Christian church that summarized the teachings of the apostles and the early church. It states a simple articulation of the nature of who we worship and the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord.

4

The Nicene Creed

This creed affirms the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ as God in the flesh, standing against early heresies. It serves as a powerful declaration of the biblical truth about the Trinity and the person of Christ.

5

The Five “Solas”

Here at Divine Christ Apologetics we affirm the Fives Solas of the protestant reformation. (We don’t hate or condemn our Roman Catholic or Orthodox brothers and sisters, and believe they are true Christians and truly part of the body of Christ, though we believe there are some serious errors that have developed in these traditions.)

Sola Fide – Faith Alone

Salvation and justification before God is received solely by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in His perfect sacrifice and righteousness, and not through any works, deeds, or human efforts, which cannot justify us before God.

Sola Gratia – Grace Alone

Our salvation is entirely the result of God’s unmerited grace, freely given through His love and mercy, and it cannot be earned or deserved by any human actions or intentions, neither before nor after coming to Christ.

Solus Christus – Christ Alone

Jesus Christ, through His atoning sacrifice on the cross and victorious resurrection, is the only mediator and Savior through whom we receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and eternal life.

Sola Scriptura – Scripture Alone

God’s Word, as revealed in the Bible, is the supreme and sufficient authority for all matters of faith and life, providing everything needed for salvation and spiritual guidance, above all human traditions or teachings.

Soli Deo Gloria – To the Glory of God Alone

All things exist for the glory of God and God only. We live to worship Him, acknowledging that our salvation and every good gift come from His sovereign grace and divine purpose.
